Saying Goodbye to St. John
We really loved our stay in St. John. It is now one of our favorite places and we will be back as soon as we can make it happen!

Goodbye for now St. John!
The Ram's Head Peak is on the far south east point on St. John and the climate is much dryer than the opposite side where the resort is.
The hike on the Ram Head Trail is not long but it is somewhat steep and definitely hot. Bring water and decent footwear!
The views over the cliffs can be pretty awesome!
When you reach the peak you are rewarded with some of the best views on the island and you can see all the way to St. Croix!
The Annaberg Plantation was one of the sugar plantations from the 1700's and is protected by the park. The ruins are very impressive.
The views are equally as interesting as the plantation ruins!
The snorkeling is beautiful off of the beaches around the resort.
There were plenty of turtles swimming with us on Scott Beach.
Everywhere we looked there were new fish to enjoy.
Danya approves!
We wanted to get our exploring started right away. So we laced up and headed out on the Lind Point Trail that is accessible from the resort and goes to Cruz Bay where the Visitor's Center is.
The Lind Point Trail was an easy but rewarding hike!
Of course, we had to spend some time on Honeymoon Beach which is right off of the trail.
The views of Cruz Bay from the high parts of the Lind Point Trail were stunning.
Cruz Bay and the Visitor's Center are a nice ending point for a great hike.
Caneel Bay Resort is beautiful and the perfect place to Honeymoon and to explore the National Park. The restaurants are top notch and the property is amazing with 7 beaches and beautiful scenery that goes on and on!
The wild donkeys on the resort property were always roaming around doing their thing!
This Iguana popped up to say hello while we were exploring some of the cool ruins on the property.
The view from our room included a pool which, of course, nobody ever uses because of all the beaches!
